Over the last 5 weeks our Property Services team have been working hard to bring life back to a three-storey smoke damaged townhouse rented by the US Embassy in Oxfordshire.
The incident happened due to a car being set alight, causing internal and external damages, leaving the tenants unable to live in the property.
In September 2017 Loss Adjusters appointed E G Carter & Co Ltd to get the building back in shape. Within 24 hours of the pre-contract meeting the Company negotiated difficult access to the property and had tradesman working on site.
After just 5 weeks the façade of the house was power blasted back to normality, new front windows were installed, the removal and renewal of a new tarmac drive, repairs to the patio area, replacement of the automated garage door, internal clean and redecoration to 100% of the home and replacement of external lighting was completed.
The tenant has now moved back into the house and is able to carry on as normal.
