The Works:

The construction of a double extension and conservatory to a detached stone house near Bourton on the Water. The work was carried out in 2 phases under the direction of a local Architectural & Engineering Surveying practice. (Derek Skeats)

Carter Construction were originally appointed to carry out phase 1, comprising of the two storey extension, conservatory and internal refurbishment. We were subsequently commissioned to continue with phase 2 being a single storey extension.

Both extensions were constructed of natural stone using a combination of natural and re-constructed stone tiled roofs. All works were carried out by our own directly employed masons.

Internally the double storey extension provides an extended kitchen and breakfast room on the ground floor with a bedroom and en-suite to the first floor.

The single storey extension provides a drawing room with double door access to the paved patio area and garden.
